Internationally known chef Sam Choy, Hawai‘i’s official goodwill ambassador, host of the popular TV series “Sam Choy’s Kitchen,” and author of over 10 cookbooks, has gathered some of his “oldies but goodies” recipes, as well as suitable new wave recipes that blend traditional lu‘au and Hawaiian fare with influences of East and West culinary traditions.
The Makaha Sons have put together a special compilation of their favorite songs for lu‘au gatherings. Some of the featured songs are the ones that have been frequently requested by family, friends and audiences. Blue Hawai‘i, The Hawaiian Wedding Song and Lahaina Luna are some of the songs that are on this exclusive CD.
